Without a doubt the biggest game this week is a familiar one, having been renamed the Red River Rivalry. Once again both bring in vast amounts of talented players, who are well-coached and primed for such a contest. Oklahoma arrives wearing the crown of number one after Baylor battering 49-17. Behind Sam Bradford, the Sooners are one of the most prolific scoring teams in the country, averaging 49.6 points per game. Bradford continues to be one of the most accurate chuckers of the pigskin in the country.

College Football Betting Saturday
Wrapped around a big Saturday of college football are a number of other important contests on the wagering docket. Among the monster matchups is Oklahoma State visiting Missouri in a battle of unbeaten Big 12 teams. The Big 10 has two big games with Michigan State playing at unbeaten Northwestern in afternoon action and Penn State making the journey to Madison to take on Wisconsin at night. No matter who starts at quarterback for either team, USC is large favorite over Arizona State.

CFB - The last two national championship teams will complete quite a day of college football. The outcome is more important for Florida who can’t afford a second conference loss. LSU could lose this game and still win the SEC, but might be left out of BCS title game if Penn State and a Big 12 team stay unbeaten. The amount of speed in this SEC showdown will look like Marzarati car rally.

Old Rivals Meet in Memphis
CFB - Two former Conference USA rivals will collide on Friday night as the football weekend keeps rolling. Louisville at one time was a big rival of Memphis back when they met regularly from 1996 to 2004. Louisville University decided to leave C-USA for higher learning purposes and join the Big East. (You become a smarter student attending a BCS school, mostly in economics) Prior to ’96, these two teams met regularly as independents and this will mark their 41st meeting. These schools will renew this rivalry and if it is anything like the last meeting, it will be appointment television.

CFB - Over the years, Tom Stryker has come across a ton of scoring angles. Some are good, some aren’t. Here is one that he lists among the best. It basically details how well a reasonably priced home favorite did after a solid offensive performance on foreign soil. As you know, momentum is huge when it comes to handicapping college football and, off a great road performance in which the offense played extremely well, the thought was that these cheap home teams would be profitable.
